Alan Goldstein’s vast retail experience enhances Aimia’s leadership position in loyalty management
MINNEAPOLIS, April 24, 2012 – Aimia is pleased to announce the hiring of Alan Goldstein to drive Retail Services within its proprietary loyalty practice, a critical part of the Company’s full suite of loyalty management services. Goldstein’s deep knowledge of the challenges facing American retailers will ensure Aimia delivers value through customer loyalty with major partners across the nation. Reporting to Peter DeNunzio, president, Customer Loyalty for Aimia in the U.S., Goldstein will divide his time between Atlanta and Aimia’s Minneapolis headquarters.
Goldstein’s expertise will add complementary skills and industry depth to Aimia’s team of loyalty experts. Having successfully led large-scale engagements with retailers encompassing strategy, product development, technology, awards and partnership marketing, Goldstein will be able to leverage Aimia’s own significant capabilities in these areas.
Prior to joining Aimia Goldstein operated ALG Partnership Marketing, and previously held senior positions with Loylogic, Maritz and Vesdia Corporation (now Cartera Commerce). His former client lists include numerous well-known companies: UPS Stores, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Walgreens, Burger King, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Eddie Bauer, Sharper Image, Marriott, Ruby Tuesdays, Linen’s Things and DirecTV.
“I am excited to join at this point in time when Aimia is clearly focused on dominating the global loyalty space. I hope to be a big part of that success story,” said Goldstein.
“Alan has a particular passion for the unique challenges faced by retailers in a data-driven environment,” said DeNunzio. “We are thrilled to have attracted someone who understands our full-suite loyalty model.”
