It’s the place where it all began - Aimia’s coalition loyalty business traces its roots back to 1984, and the creation of the Aeroplan program by Air Canada as an incentive program for its frequent flyer customers.
Today, Aeroplan is the premier coalition loyalty program in Canada, with more than 4.6 million active members earning Aeroplan Miles through a growing network of over 75 world-class partners, representing more than 150 brands in the financial, retail, and travel sectors.
Air Miles Middle East
Air Miles Middle East, the leading coalition loyalty program in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain, is managed by Rewards Management Middle East FZ-LLC (RMMEL), which is 60% owned by Aimia.
Since its launch in 2001, more than 1.3 million members have enrolled from over 700,000 households in the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. Members can collect Air Miles from over 120 market-leading companies including HSBC, Spinneys, Lamcy Plaza and Damas, plus many more.
Launched in 2010 and 75% owned by Aimia, Nectar Italia is the first independent loyalty coalition program uniting leading retailers in Italy. Current partners include Sma, Api Ip, Auchan, UniEuro and PC City, So Oney and Hertz.
In addition, members can earn Nectar Italia points from a range of online retailers and can also take out a Nectar Credit Card to earn points on all their purchases. With over 8.5 million Italian consumers earning valuable rewards, Nectar Italia is quickly becoming one of Europe’s leading loyalty coalitions.
Nectar UK is the largest and most popular loyalty program in the UK with over 18.5 million active members.
Today, more than 50 per cent of UK households collect Nectar points when shopping for groceries, planning DIY projects, booking holidays, paying household bills, buying petrol and for getting their cars serviced.
