London, UK – 7 July 2014:  Aimia, a global leader in loyalty management and the company that operates the Nectar programme, was awarded three trophies at the ENEI Awards (Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion) on 2nd July at the Law Society, London.

The prestigious ENEI awards celebrate organisations with a commitment to good practice that goes above and beyond legal compliance and use innovative approaches that will inspire other employers.

Aimia, employing 650 employees in the UK, was highly celebrated for its achievements in equality and inclusion winning:

1. The Small Employer of the Year Award

2. The Inclusive Culture Award

3. The Wellbeing at Work  Award (declared joint winner with Marks and Spencer)

The triple win shows that Aimia is recognised for its astounding work in creating an inclusive culture and adopting a holistic approach to culture change with its UK business. Much of the work was based on the recommendations of its own innovative research which it put into practice:  educating employees about unconscious bias, working to remove hurdles to women moving into more senior positions and encouraging a now flourishing group of employee networks. The company showed its commitment to employee well-being by introducing dedicated training to help its employees switch off from work, resulting in lower perceived stress and improved positive mood amongst staff. Alongside this, a wide range of physical well-being initiatives were put in place, which has significantly improved both employee and business performance.
