Aimia, a global leader in loyalty management and the company that operates the Nectar programme, took home an impressive three trophies at last night’s Loyalty Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
The prestigious awards celebrate outstanding achievement in the loyalty industry across Europe and the Middle East and are voted for by independent experts in the sector.
Aimia won awards for:
1. Best Card Based Loyalty Programme of the Year (for its work on Nectar)
2. Best Use of Customer Analytics/Data in a Loyalty Programme (for Sainsbury’s and Nectar)
3. Best Loyalty Programme of the Year: European Union and Turkey (for its work on Nectar)
This is the third consecutive year that Nectar has been recognised as the leader in its field and is also the second award win for Sainsbury’s and Nectar’s Offer Engine after it was recognised earlier this year at the Data Strategy Awards.
These wins highlight Aimia’s position as a recognised leader in loyalty management, owning and operating over 100 loyalty programmes across 20 different countries, and in particular reinforces its success with Nectar, the UK’s largest coalition loyalty programme.
Commenting on the awards, Jan-Pieter Lips, President, EMEA at Aimia, said:
“This is a fantastic achievement for Aimia. It’s brilliant to be recognised for our wealth of experience within the loyalty industry and providing loyalty management services to our clients.”
